You can direct your contribution to one of the priority areas—Education, Income and Health—or choose all three through the Community Fund. As always, we will also process a restricted contribution to qualified 501 (c) 3 organizations.

Community Fund
 United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income, health, while ensuring that basic needs are met in the community. These are the building blocks for a good life—a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. United Way collaborates with long-standing, community based organizations and non-traditional partners to facilitate real change in community conditions.
The best way to help the most people is by giving to the Community Fund, which target’s your donation to innovative, measureable programs addressing the issues of Early Education, Financial Stability, Access to Healthcare and Immediate Needs.
We all have our favorite charities, but the problems facing our community are much larger than one agency can handle. United Way funded initiatives offer a broad mix of programs and services to meet the diverse needs of our total community. And, United Way’s campaign helps to keep individual agency fundraising costs low.
Community volunteers carefully review each United Way funded program. Their oversight ensures agencies adhere to sound fiscal policies and that your contribution is invested in programs that do the most good. |
Homelessness affects everyone in southern Nevada and you can affect homelessness. In the plan, there is a role and a part for everyone. Corporations are being asked to invest in the future of our community through contributions, volunteerism and the donation of professional services. The homeless are being asked to work with their social workers and case managers to find jobs and pay a portion of their rent. Now we’re asking for your help.
