Success By 6®

United Way of Southern Nevada’s early childhood initiative, Success By 6, was founded in 2003 by a dedicated group of community leaders and child advocates. Since its inception it has influenced the health, safety and well-being of children in our community under the age of six. The Bank of America Foundation was instrumental in launching the initiative by providing a two-year grant to underwrite both a planning and the initial implementation and roll out of services.

 

Success By 6 established itself as a community-wide, neighborhood based initiative, focusing on the areas of improved health, safety and literacy for children ages 0 – 6. Combined funding from business and community partners was leveraged to increase community awareness and education. The Success By 6 community impact increased dramatically, through partnerships with city leaders in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas & Henderson.
