On Friday, March 20,2009 during the Women's Leadership Council suit drive, 2,262 women’s suits and business attire outfits were collected and distributed to SafeNest, SafeHouse, Shade Tree and Goodwill Career Connections to benefit women in need.

Many disadvantaged women in Southern Nevada are trying to enter or return to the work force. Presentation is everything--having a suit or business outfit to wear to a job interview is an important first step in the right direction, providing that extra confidence to enhance self-esteem. These outfits will benefit women who have participated in the job placement programs, and are now being sent out on interviews to attain financial stability.
