Welcome back to our 65th Team UWSN Tuesday series. For this Tuesday, we would like to introduce our new Marketing Intern for the Fall semester, Luis Soto Jr. Luis, a Senior at UNLV, joined the UWSN team in mid-August for an internship. Luis is majoring in Journalism, with a Pilates certificate. As a Marketing Intern, he will use his journalism skills to draft marketing materials and social media content, spreading the word about our programs and events.
“Interning for United Way of Southern Nevada was a happy accident,” Luis says. “I am studying journalism and ended up working in social media then marketing. I am extremely excited to see what I come out learning from United Way and implementing that in my career, whatever that may end up being.”
