Meet our Marketing Specialist, Aubrie Curci! Aubrie began her career as an intern with United Way three years ago and now in her current role, she manages all our social media and public relations efforts. Through these channels, she ensures the community is informed about UWSN’s partners, events, and programs that provide support to 1 in 4 Southern Nevadans. Please share your favorite memory of working at UWSN?
Since I began my career as an intern with UWSN three years ago, I have made so many memories and it is hard to choose one! If I had to choose, my favorite memories would be at our annual Day of Caring. It is incredible to see our entire team work together to unite hundreds of volunteers to make a difference and give back to our community. It is so much fun visiting our nonprofit partners and meeting our amazing volunteers! Day of Caring truly shows the power of United Way in our community.
What is one thing everyone must do when visiting Las Vegas?
Visit Downtown Las Vegas! There are so many amazing small businesses, restaurants, and events in the arts district and at Fergusons Downtown. I love taking my friends and family to explore and see all the amazing vendors. It is the perfect spot for locals to see another side of Las Vegas!
What is your favorite moment in Las Vegas history?
My favorite moment in Las Vegas history is on August 23, 1993, when Las Vegas Academy opened! I am a proud LVA alumni and had such a great time being an art and photography major.
