The Vice President of Resource Development plans, develops and leads United Way of Southern Nevada’s comprehensive annual fundraising campaign involving corporations, foundations and individuals. This position is responsible for coaching, developing, mentoring and motivating a high functioning fundraising team to achieve aggressive revenue growth and enduring trusting relationships in the community. The Vice President leads the team to hit defined revenue targets for corporate gifts, employee workplace campaigns, individual gifts, online giving, major gifts, and legacy endowment gifts. This position should create and embody a team culture of accountability that is goal focused, competitive, driven, and fun, as well as represent the brand of United Way in a professional and respectful way.
The Volunteer Engagement and Events Manager promotes volunteerism, recruits volunteers and develops committed United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) supporters through the development of strategic partnerships. This will be accomplished by managing the coordination and placement of volunteers with a focus on the connection of corporate volunteers with appropriate opportunities at UWSN with member agencies, and in the community. This position provides direction for UWSN staff to accomplish volunteer goals and work plan objectives. The Volunteer Engagement and Events Manager is also responsible for planning and organizing UWSN events.
