10.21.19 - 11.22.19 Operation Thanksgiving Dinner

This Thanksgiving, we need your help to provide the fixings for a traditional turkey dinner! Purchase non-perishable Thanksgiving groceries for a family in need and drop them off at United Way of Southern Nevada for distribution. Donations are accepted at 5830 W. Flamingo Rd. through November 22 at 4 pm. Run a mini-drive at your office to engage your company in giving back. Don't have time to shop? Make a donation and we'll do the shopping for you! 10.26.19 Fall Health Festival

Nevada Health Centers is hosting a Fall Health Festival on Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Martin Luther King Family Health Center located at 1799 Mount Mariah Drive. With health education, free health screenings, free flu shots, a trunk-or-treat for kids, open house tours and so much more, there's fun, food and entertainment for the whole family! 10.26.19 Sugar Skull Workshop

Families are invited to celebrate Latino/Hispanic heritage and create a colorfully decorated sugar skull to take home, just in time for the “Dias de los Muertos” celebration. For more information, click here.

As part of National Mentoring Day, The Embracing Project will host a youth panel to discuss how mentoring positively impacted the lives of mentees. Learn how to volunteer and become a trauma-informed mentor for youth in the Las Vegas community. To learn more, click here.

11.1.19 Women's Leadership Council Suit Drive

Make a difference for women in need and donate your gently used professional suits, outfits, shoes, and accessories. Drop off items at UWSN during the month of October, run a women's clothing drive or volunteer at the WLC Suit Drive on November 1, 2019. 11.2.19 Nevada Public Radio Recycle Day

Join Nevada Public Radio Saturday, November 2 from 8 am to noon for Fall Recycle Day! Safely dispose of electronics, confidential documents, all your co-mingled recyclables and donate gently-used items. For more information, click here.

11.4.19 Painting It Forward

11.21.19 Mayors Prayer Breakfast

12.13.19 Big Shots Breakfast

Join Immunize Nevada for their Big Shots Breakfast. Coalition partners, healthcare professionals, organizations, donors, volunteers and community members are all invited to attend this celebratory breakfast. Start your morning by connecting with colleagues, learning about programs, celebrating immunization and health partners, and discovering how you can help promote health and prevent disease. 12.15.19 Fill The Bus Toy Drive 

Join the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Clark County School District Police, U.S. Air Force Security Forces, Target, the United Way of Southern Nevada, and 104.3 NOW for a spectacular time! From 10am-4pm at the Target on 6371 North Decatur BLVD & 215 we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys that will benefit Clark County School District Title 1 schools. For more information, click here
