The Loop at Moapa Valley is a free annual non-profit family friendly bicycle event. What will you see? Arts and crafts, farms, cottage food producers, an animal sanctuary, real estate, community organizations, restaurants and foodtrucks, churches and historical landmarks, yard sales, and more. 3.24.19 Knock Out ALS

How many punches/kicks can you do in one 30-minute workout? This unique event allows anyone to work out while raising funds for a great cause. The workout is free. Funds raised go to help those living with ALS in Nevada. The first 50 people to sign up will receive a shirt. For more information, click here.

3.28.19 BE Engaged Summit 2019

Southern Nevada’s ability to attract and retain new business opportunities is directly tied to the educational achievement and technological skill of current and future students. The BE Engaged Summit seeks to build partnerships between schools, students, educators and business leaders, ensuring future employees are able to meet the technological skill level required by an evolving business climate. The BE Engaged Summit involves business leaders in the important process of improving Southern Nevada’s public education system. Business leaders are highly encouraged to attend the BE Engaged Summit and learn about the challenges, and the successes, within the K-12 public school system. Attendees will learn how they, along with their company, can accelerate student achievement and educational outcomes through donations of time, talent, financial gifts or other partnerships. 3.30.19 Blue Diamond Rummage Sale

The Blue Diamond Village rummage sale is a community wide fund raising event to benefit the Blue Diamond Volunteer Fire Dept. It will be held in the rec. hall parking lot from 8 am to 4 pm on March 30. For more information, click here.

3.30.19 5th Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off

The 5th annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off at the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park will give you the chance to witness the limitless versatility of pioneer-era cookware, enjoy live music, sample diverse dishes, and vote for the winners. Cooks will compete in three categories: main dish, side dish, and desert. 4.6.19 Out of the Darkness Las Vegas Walk

The Las Vegas Out of the Darkness Community Walk is one of more than 550 Out of the Darkness Overnight, Community and Campus Walks being held nationwide this year Money raised helps the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss. 4.6.19 Runnin' for the House 5K Run and Fun Walk

Since 2004, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas has hosted its annual Runnin’ for the House 5K Run and Fun Walk at the House.  It features a certified 5k course, a pancake breakfast, a booth expo, and children’s activities. 4.28.19 ADL Walk Against Hate

Southern Nevadans are invited to join together again to celebrate and promote diversity and inclusion at the third annual ADL Walk Against Hate (presented by Barrick Gold) on April 28. The family-oriented, multi-cultural walk and event will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Springs Preserve. For more information, click here.


5.11.19 Skye and Stars: Stargazing at Skye Canyon Park

The 4th annual Skye & Stars: Stargazing at Skye Canyon Park will be held May 11 . Besides viewing with the Las Vegas Astronomical Society (both  daytime and evening) there will be picnicking, lawn games, food trucks and music. For more information, please click here.

5.18.19 Carnival in the Clouds

Miracle Flights invites thrill-seekers of all ages to enjoy an exciting afternoon of aerial acrobatics performed by professional drone experts, classic carnival games, interactive STEM activities, food, entertainment and even a "Drone University."
