4.1.18-5.29.18 Butterfly Habitat at Springs Preserve

Learn about and watch the interaction between butterflies and the plants that sustain them. You'll emerge with a better understanding of the environment needed for the survival of these spectacular insects. 4.12.18 Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada Beer and Boots Bash

Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada will host its first Beer & Boots Bash on April 12, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Lovelady Brewing Company. The event will raise awareness of and funds for RTSNV’s mission, focused on repairing homes for low-income individuals and families, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives. 4.14.18 - 4.15.18 Las Vegas Celtic Festival & Highland Games

The 14th annual Las Vegas Celtic Gathering and Highland Games will be held April 14 and 15 at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. The festival celebrates Celtic heritage with entertainment, children’s activities, food, drink, dance and heavy athletics (such as the caber toss). For more information, click here.

4.15.18 AIDS Walk 2018

"Walk to the Beat" at Aid for AIDS of Nevada 28th annual AIDS Walk on April 15 at Town Square Las Vegas. Penn & Teller will once again serve as grand marshals and leaders of the Penn & Teller Challenge AIDS Walk Team. Registration to walk is free and attendees are encouraged to form a team and fundraise to receive incentives. For more information, click here.

4.18.18 Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada's 9th Annual Corks and Forks Gala

Corks and Forks honors the commitment of community members to reproductive health, advocacy, and education. The proceeds go toward providing high-quality health care to more than 10,000 patients seen at the two Las Vegas Planned Parenthood health centers, as well as expanding services in the community. The Honorable Jan Jones Blackhurst, Las Vegas’ first female mayor and current Executive Vice President of Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment, will be honored with the Joyce Mack Philanthropic Award. The event will also feature Dr. Willie Parker, MD, MPH, MSc., a reproductive justice advocate and author who travels as an abortion provider in Alabama and Georgia. For more information, click here.

4.21.18 Handbags for Homes

Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN)'s signature fundraising event, Handbags for Homes, will be held on April 21, 2018, at Pacifica Senior Living, 8374 W Capovilla Ave., Las Vegas.  Proceeds from the event directly support our housing centered programs and services designed to assist individuals and families in becoming self-sufficient and financially stable. 4.26.18 - 4.29.18 The Great American Foodie Fest

The Great American Foodie Fest returns to Henderson April 26-29 in the parking lot at Sunset Station Casino. It features innovative food vendors and top food trucks from around the country that have been featured on popular TV food shows. Also: a beer garden, carnival rides, and eating contests. 4.27.18 Splish, Splash, It's a Baby Bash Community Shower!

In celebration of National Infant Immunization Week, the Southern Nevada Health District and Immunize Nevada are hosting the annual Splish, Splash, it's a Baby Bash Community Baby Shower from 11 am - 4 pm at the Southern Nevada Health District at 280 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107. At this event there will be infant immunization offered on site, various community organizations will be present to distribute health resources, and there will be family-friendly activities.

4.28.18 RMHC Runnin' for the House 5K & Family Fun Walk

The RMHC Runnin' for the House 5K & Family Fun Walk will be held at the Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House on April 28, starting at 8 a.m. There will be a certified 5k course, a pancake breakfast, a booth expo, children’s activities, and a great raffle. Also, you can tour the House while at the event and learn how your participation directly helps RMHC. For more information, click here.

4.28.18 Pinwheels for Prevention at Galleria at Sunset Mall

To celebrate Child Abuse Prevention Month, PCANV and Superheroes are Going Blue because every child deserves a great childhood! Join us and dress up as your favorite superhero! We can all be a super hero and do our part to keep our communities safe, healthy, and happy! Meet live super heroes and also enjoy children's activities, face painting, a community resource fair, costume contest, and a raffle. Let's all come together to celebrate great childhoods!
