9.15.18 DeCadence Food Festival

It’s proven that Las Vegas Valley residents love a food festival and the Cadence master-planned community has answered the call with the return of its popular, annual culinary event: DeCadence Food Festival—Saturday, September 15 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The third year of the festival features meals and bites from new and familiar restaurants throughout the valley. 9.15.18 12th Annual Walk in Memory Walk for Hope

The Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention invites you to join us on September 15th, 2018 for the 12th Annual Walk in Memory Walk for Hope. The Las Vegas/Henderson walk will take place at Bob Miller Middle School, 2400 Cozy Circle, Henderson, NV 89052.  Registration begins at 7:30 am. In Las Vegas, we are giving out lanyard buttons and key chain buttons for walkers to put a picture of your loved one in. If you would like one, please bring a 3-4” picture. The guest speaker: will be Kimberley Strassel, a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board, national columnist, and guest commentator on cable news programs. Imagine waking up and turning on the faucet to no water...Now imagine that instead of going to work or school you will spend the day walking to the nearest source, a polluted stream six miles away. Whatever you carry back has to provide for yourself and your family...This is the reality of thousands of people around the world... Join us on Saturday, October 13, 2018 to pay tribute to individuals - mostly women and children - that make this journey everyday. Walk for Water participants will create a ribbon of blue t-shirts over the nearly 3 mile walk at the Springs Preserve to bring awareness to global, and local water issues.
