UWSN is now accepting project submissions for Day of Caring!
LAS VEGAS – June 25, 2019 – Make a difference in our community your way and submit your Day of Caring project today! UWSN is now accepting project submissions for Day of Caring 2019 from now until July 26! Day of Caring is the largest one-day volunteer event that embraces the collaboration of organizations and volunteers across Southern Nevada.
This powerful community-wide act of kindness is possible because of all the amazing organizations that provide projects for our dedicated volunteers. This year, we are opening project submissions to any organization that serves the community regardless of their 501(c)(3) status. Organizations can submit project proposals until July 26, 2019.
Hosting a Day of Caring project offers organizations the opportunity to promote the resources and services they provide to the community. Day of Caring projects are either half day or full day and can include a variety of activities. Organizations can develop impactful projects that will support their services and create worthwhile experiences for volunteers.
By uniting organizations and volunteers across the valley, we can complete projects that otherwise may not get completed. Thank you to our sponsors KTNV and Wells Fargo for supporting Day of Caring! Celebrate the spirit of volunteering and help UWSN reach our goal of 50 projects by submitting your projects today!
