United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for its 2019 Community Impact: Family Stability Grant. The RFP will cover the program period of July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020.
United Way of Southern Nevada is committed to creating lasting change with measurable improvements for families in need in the Southern Nevada region. As a convener, collaborator and catalyst for change, our vision is to break the cycle of poverty and provide the foundation for a stronger community for all. The purpose of this grant is to create thriving neighborhoods where adults and children have access to education, financial stability and health. We are looking for proposals with a Two-Generation approach (2-Gen approach) and require programs to design and deliver services that intentionally strengthen the whole family, so that all generations within the family can experience improved economic, housing, and educational outcomes.
As part of that commitment, United Way of Southern Nevada will invest in a high performing organization that provide programming activities and services that align with our 2-Gen approach. Funding will be granted to partner with an organization through a competitive application process.
Any nonprofit organization/community partner located in Clark County is eligible to apply for the community impact: family stability grant during the open application period. The grant will be awarded for a period of one year, with the possibility of additional years if funds become available. Grant renewals will be based strictly on the availability of funds, program performance (outcomes) and compliance with the terms of the grant agreement.
