Team actively helps community members leverage their investments
to help reimagine the future of Southern Nevada
With a focus on providing the community with an opportunity to help Southern Nevada respond and rebuild, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is proud to introduce its Fund Development team. With Kelly Shaw leading as its Senior Vice President of Fund Development, key members include Audrey Daley, Director, Fund Development; Jessica Etienne, Director, Fund Development Operations; and Keri Serrano, Manager, Individual Giving.

"I am excited to introduce Kelly Shaw, Audrey Daley, Jessica Etienne and Keri Serrano, who will serve as philanthropic advisors to the thousands of individuals and businesses that partner with United Way of Southern Nevada to make a positive impact in our community.”
The UWSN Fund Development team works with companies and individuals throughout Southern Nevada to invest in meaningful solutions to create lasting change. This innovative team has extensive experience in bringing together supporters from across the community to give everyone in Southern Nevada the opportunity to succeed.
As Senior Vice President of Fund Development, Kelly will provide strategic direction and rally the support of individuals and corporate supporters to ensure Southern Nevada’s continued recovery. As an innovative leader in workplace culture, education and coaching, Kelly has created and launched multiple successful change initiatives throughout her for profit career. She led cross collaborative teams for top line growth and cultivated long term strategic partnerships with key clients. Kelly also established a personal scholarship at the Business Department at Eastern University, supporting women pursuing a degree in a business-related field. Kelly was named one of Casino Enterprise Management magazine’s 8th Annual Great Women of Gaming for leadership and garnered recognition in 2019 as one of Global Gaming Business’s Top 20 People to Watch. She is also a member of the Global Gaming Women Association, Women United and Association of Fundraising Professionals.
As Director, Fund Development, Audrey will work closely with companies to help them to meet their corporate social responsibility goals and make pivotal, innovative investments in programs that are helping Southern Nevada respond and rebuild. With over 20 years of well-rounded marketing, sales and brand experience, Audrey has honed her skills in order to effectively manage accounts and provide a positive client experience. She recognizes that a highly motivated and highly trained staff equates to increased customer satisfaction. Her understanding of each client's goals and objectives, and how they impact customers, enables her to manage and execute for the best possible outcomes.
As Director, Fund Development Operations, Jessica has a strategic focus on planning, developing, and supporting United Way's comprehensive annual fundraising campaign to achieve revenue growth. With a rich background in data analysis and donor communications, Jessica will ensure that donors are connected and informed. Jessica is adept at driving customized projects and report-automation to create individualized communications. Through her five-year tenure at UWSN, Jessica has been recognized for her ability to establish an efficient system to accurately record and report donor contributions and provide employee training.
In Keri’s role as Manager, Individual Giving, she will act as a partner in giving, helping donors direct their funds to make the greatest impact in our community. Widely recognized as a compassionate communicator, Keri has over 15 years in leading human resources, corporate social responsibility, and nonprofit programs. Keri led the organization responsible for State Farm’s corporate headquarters, a community of 5,000 employees. In addition, she led the charitable giving arm of Diamond Resorts and coordinated fundraising events including an annual televised celebrity golf tournament. As a hands-on, effective nonprofit chair, Keri served as the primary fundraiser for the organization, spearheading programs to increase funding from donors.
