STEPS TO TAKE IF FACING EVICTION

STEP 1

Apply for rental assistance through CHAP.
For CHAP questions: CCSSCARE@clarkcountyNV.gov.

STEP 2

Sign a CDC declaration and give it to your landlord if you qualify and haven't given one already.

STEP 3

Respond to any eviction notice immediately by filling a tenant answer with the court.

STEP 4

Elect mediation in your answer, inform the court of your pending CHAP application, and provide a copy of your CDC declaration.

STEP 5
