Register as an individual or sign up a team at uwsn.org/caring for the second annual United Way Day of Caring being held on Friday, September 29, 2017. Plan on joining us for the largest one-day community-wide volunteer event dedicated to improving people’s lives.
Select from over 160 projects at more than 60 non-profit agencies and schools. Areas of interest include education & literacy, children & youth, hunger, homelessness, veterans, animals, seniors, environment, people with disabilities, health and medicine.
Projects include a variety of activities including painting school playgrounds and classrooms, graffiti removal, planting gardens, assembling hygiene kits, landscaping, building buddy benches, reading to students, assembling food backpacks and park clean up.
You can pick a project that is either a half day (10am - 1pm) or a full day (10am - 3pm and includes lunch).

Notice to team leaders: please have the first and last name, email and t-shirt size of all team members upon registering. This guarantees all volunteer spots secured.
In celebration of 60 years in service, United Way of Southern Nevada will be investing $60,000 into the participating nonprofit agencies and schools for Day of Caring!
Huge thank you to all 1,000 volunteers and event sponsors who made this event a tremendous success. 93 projects were completed across Southern Nevada at 23 nonprofit agencies and 16 elementary and middle schools.
