Message from Our Chair

Hello,

We greatly appreciate your support of United Way of Southern Nevada. As our valued donor, we would like to let you know that Robyn Caspersen has been appointed as United Way of Southern Nevada’s Interim President and CEO.

This appointment is a result of the resignation of Bob Morgan, former President & CEO, who has accepted a position with a development company in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. Through Bob’s direction and leadership, we are in a good position and on a strong path to creating meaningful change through the Community-Based Agenda. Bob will remain at United Way of Southern Nevada as long as necessary to ensure a smooth transition.

With a commitment to improving the community through United Way and other community organizations, Robyn is a long-standing donor and member of United Way of Southern Nevada’s board, and has held many other leadership positions including Co-Chair of United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council.

As a board member, volunteer and retired partner of Deloitte, Robyn is an experienced business leader who is passionate about serving the needs of the community through leadership, philanthropy and volunteerism.

With the full support of the Board of Directors, Robyn joins a talented team of dedicated individuals who are executing our strategic plan to unite our community to improve lives.

I want to thank you again for your support of United Way of Southern Nevada as we continue to create a better community for all through our work together.

Sincerely,

Ed Garcia
United Way of Southern Nevada Board Chair
