On March 23, 2017, Nevadans will unite for 24 hours of online giving to support the organizations that improve our community during the 6th Annual Nevada’s Big Give. To date, Nevada’s Big Give has raised just over $2 million for nearly 500 Nevada charities from over 15,000 unique donors, with a goal to engage 7,000 donors in 2017.
United Way of Southern Nevada’s Women’s Leadership Council’s (WLC) 9th Annual “Women’s Fall Suit Drive” on Friday, November 4 was a complete success with an incredible 11,359 professional items collected.at the NV Energy parking lot.
As a college student from humble means, I believe in the value of a quality education to transform a life. I’m a graduating senior at UNLV studying Business Economics, and I am interning here at UWSN with the Social Innovation team. I am impressed by the quality of the people and programs here, and I get to add to it in a meaningful way. I’m thrilled that I am now contributing to a project aimed at improving academic achievement among the most economically vulnerable in town.

The Clark County School District (CCSD), in partnership with Troops to Education and United Way of Southern Nevada, will host a Veterans and Spouses Career Fair on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 9 a.m., at Eldorado High School, 1139 N. Linn Lane, Las Vegas. The fair will feature information on positions such as teachers, classroom aides, custodians, bus drivers and more.
